"Custom Series" Threaded Detents Item details: Based on Nummech's rebuildable detents, these enhanced versions offer a custom-machined aluminum screw rather than a typical steel set screw as found on most Nummech detents. The custom detent screws are made from aluminum, thereby allowing the entire detent to be anodized in matching color/finish. The custom detent screw offers a few performance improvements (listed below) while also creating the ultimate finishing touch on a total-custom marker build.

Custom series detent caps can be used with any Nummech threaded detent housing. They are available only as raw components (internals are included).
Note: Angel detent is shown in pictures, but other styles appear nearly identical.
- Features:
- Uses the same internals from Nummech's rebuildable detents.
- Smaller allen key hex (1/8") which maximizes the amount of exposed aluminum on the detent cap.
- Custom-bored screw will "bottom out" inside the detent housing to offer a reliable hold.
- Included in the package:
- Raw housing and custom screw
- Detent internals are included, but the detent is not assembled
Note: These detents must be installed using a wrench around the outside. You cannot use an allen key, because you will never be able to unscrew them. Nummech does not recommend using these detents on marker bodies that have cosmetic milling surrounding the outside of the detent area, because the external hex must be used for proper installation and removal.
